Katharine, speaking about Billy’s Wish, in front of St Albans Bach Choir

Every Christmas, St Albans Bach Choir invite the audience at their carol concerts to support a local charity nominated by choir members. This year Billy’s Wish was nominated, after we visited the school of one of the choir members in July, to speak to the children.

The concert was held on Saturday 11th December in St Albans Cathedral, Katharine Harper, our Education Officer spoke for a few minutes about Billy and the work we do, and the audience were invited to make donations at the end.

We feel so honoured that Billy’s Wish was the chosen charity. An incredible £963.04 was donated into the buckets – we were flabergasted when we saw how generous everyone had been.

The concert was just so beautiful – Paul (Billys Dad), Sally (Billy’s Aunt) and Katharine all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thank you to the people of St Albans, to the team at the Abbey and to St Albans Bach Choir – Billy would be extremely proud ❤️
